Postdoctoral Research Assistant
Robert is a postdoctoral assistant in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London investigating the potential of low-intermediate temperature SOC materials for green hydrogen production. Currently he is focused on the application of oxynitride materials as well as exsolved bimetallic nanoparticles from double perovskites as SOC materials. This work includes in-situ observation of ammonia decomposition mechanisms and exsolved nanoparticle growth.
Robert holds a M.Sc. in Nanoengineering from the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (USA), where he researched the application of hybridized metal oxide support materials for Fischer Tropsch synthesis catalysts. He completed the requirements for a Ph.D. in Physics from the Technical University of Denmark where he researched the application of CuZn alloy nanoparticles grown from physical vapor deposited thin films towards carbon dioxide hydrogenation.
