Jia Guo joined Prof. Stephen Skinner’s group as a PhD candidate in May 2019. Before joining the group, she graduated from Imperial College London with an MSc degree in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, completing her final project in the same group. Jia is currently working on synthesis and investigation of Ru-contained double perovskites as the electrode for SOFCs. She interests in studying the properties of these materials with multiple techniques such as X-ray diffraction characterization, X-ray photoelectron spectrometer measurement and Electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy measurement. She also tries to investigate the nanoparticle exsolution phenomenon for performance enhancement of these materials.
